I was in town with a few other missionaries when we heard there was someone in trouble. So we left right away for the hospital to see if there was anything we could do. It could only have been the Lord working in this situation, as one member of our group was a nurse who had just arrived in this region of PNG the previous day. I don't know his current condition but I can tell you that he is being looked after and prayed for by the missionary community here in PNG. I left to go buy some lunch for Amy, and bought sheets, towels, soap, washcloths and a few other things for them, as well as snacks and drinks for Amy. She is with him tonight, and my family has offered to pick her up in the morning and bring her back to our house to clean up, eat, and relax a bit, while myself or another missionary sits with Craig.
In the mean time, it may be a long night for both of them, so keep praying.
We prayed together before leaving them, asking for the Lord's healing, and for strength through the night, but most of all, we prayed that ultimately God would be glorified through this.
Tim- a misso in PNGonemoretribehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01882793059898537691noreply@blogger.com
