We're Back from our Annual Meeting at the Shack

We've returned from our annual meeting at the Shack. Each August since I've been part of the BI team, our entire Grand Rapids staff and as many consultants from around the world as possible have traveled together to this lovely facility outside White Cloud, Michigan. It's a time of reflecting on what the Lord has allowed us to accomplish during the past fiscal year and looking forward to what we trust to be able to accomplish in the coming year. It's also a time of both physical and spiritual refreshment.

This year our Bible teacher was Haitian pastor Maxime Pierre-Pierre. He and his wife, Marie-France, were a blessing to us. Pastor Pierre-Pierre encouraged us to be among those who walk closely with the Lord. Besides the meetings there was also a game time, some free time, and times of bonding for the staff. And anyone who has ever been to the Shack remembers fondly the banana splits that are a part of the delicious food there. As I've often said before, time spent in this beautiful spot is one of the highlights of my year. I'm grateful for the opportunity to have attended the meeting again this year.
