You may be aware that I'm planning a trip to Ohio on Wednesday. I planned this trip months ago, expecting to have fully recovered from my recent knee surgery. Now I realize it's going to be a stretch to make this trip to First Baptist Church in Van Wert, Ohio. Don't get me wrong. My spirit is willing, but my flesh is still weak at this point.So this is where you come into the picture. I need your prayers as I drive down there on Wednesday and then speak twice on Wednesday evening. I'll speak again on Thursday morning before starting my trip back.
I plan to spend the rest of Thursday and part of Friday with my oldest niece and her family in Fort Wayne, Indiana, before returning to Grand Rapids on Friday afternoon, so that should not be as rough.
Thank you that I can again count on your prayers. I'll let you know how the trip went when I get back, Lord willing.

I hope your trip will be easier than you anticipate. Driving is one of my least favorite activities, although I think you enjoy it.
