My Precious is Growing Up!

When I got my little Precious in November she looked, as one of my neighbors said, like a little fur ball. Now, as you can see, she's beginning to look like a puppy. I just had her weighed this morning and she's up to 3 pounds, 3 ounces--already bigger than I wanted her to be. (I have to take her to the vet to be weighed, because I don't have a scales small enough to weigh her. Thankfully, they don't charge to weigh her.) But I sure enjoy having her. She really is precious.

Work continues to go on! We have one man leaving today to go to Peru and another leaving to go to Ghana for the dedication of the Waalii Bible, which has been a long time coming. That dedication is next weekend, and people will be rejoicing at receiving their Bible after years of waiting for it.

I continue researching for the history, among other things. I'm delighted that a couple from one of my supporting churches is planning to come up for the month of July to help me with the work on the book. I certainly feel a need for your prayers, probably now more than ever.

Praise the Lord for a housemate. Hye Ree moved in about 10 days ago, after earning her doctorate from Bob Jones University. She is working with us at Bibles International for the next year. Pray for adjustment to this new environment. And pray that she'll feel a real sense of satisfaction in serving the Lord with us at BI.

I have been looking for a new post from you. Good to see a picture of your little one, too. God knows what He is doing in growing her just a bit bigger than you thought you wanted. Glad you will have company and help.

Wow what are you feeding Precious? She looks like a different animal than she did at Christmas!

I feed her Purina Puppy Chow. I'm trying to wean her from that to Kibbles and Bits, but she's not too fond of the latter. Puppy Chow has too many calories for her to stay on it much longer.
