My "Greats"

I'm sure you wonder why I'm showing a picture obviously taken at Christmas. There are at least two reasons. One is that I only recently found this picture in my camera. I was so busy when I came back after Christmas, I forgot to load my pictures onto my computer.

Another reason is because I want to tell you some news about my "greats." This is my youngest "great," born in June, so he's nearly a year old now. I had another "great" born last year, but unfortunately, I didn't get any pictures with him. He was not too fond of his great-aunt. The one I'm holding is Josiah, and he lives in Massachusetts, which means I will only rarely get to see him. The other one born last year is Joshua, and he lives in Texas. I will see him only on rare occasions as well.

In August, Lord willing, I'll have another "great," born in California. Because her parents live that far away, I'll rarely get to see her, too. And Joshua, from Texas, is having a younger sibling born in November, Lord willing. I now have a dozen "greats," but by the end of the year, I'll have two more, Lord willing. Obviously, my greatest prayer is that each one will come to know Christ as their Savior when they are old enough to understand their need of Him. What an awesome responsibility these parents have.

Well, I'm still rewriting the last chapter of the book. I thought I would have it done today if not before, but that didn't happen since I'm still collecting info for it. Surely by this time next week I'll have it completed. Please pray with me to that end.

I trust you'll have a good Memorial Day weekend. If you know a military person, please give him or her my thanks for fighting for my freedom.

What a cute photo! Your "greats" are really starting to snowball, huh? I bet it's fun - yet a bit overwhelming - to keep up with them all!
