A Weekend to be Remembered

This is a weekend I'll long remember, I'm sure. There have been several highlights.
Some of them were:
Being flooded with birthday cards and gifts. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
Having a ladies' tea at church yesterday afternoon with three missionary ladies sharing their work
and their heart for their ministries. It was so good!
Long distance phone calls from both sisters and one friend/supporter through the years since Cedarville days.
Dozens of good wishes sent on Facebook.
An invitation to have Sunday dinner with a missionary colleague (and her sweet granddaughters).
(It's been many a year since I've heard children's voices singing Happy Birthday to me.)
Another missionary colleague joined us there.
The meal was delicious, complete with a decorated cake.
The above beautiful floral arrangement made of fruit. It was created by Edible Arrangements.
Thank you to all who helped make this a special time in my life. I haven't yet been able to read all my cards
and Facebook messages!!!

So happy to hear you had such a wonderful birthday. We thought of you and offered up a special prayer for one of God's angels.

Awesome! You sound like a celebrity :) The fruit bouquet looks wonderful -- I've seen pictures of them, but never one in person. Enjoy each bite!
