Excitement at Bibles International

This is an exciting time of year. We have just returned from our annual meeting at the beautiful bed and breakfast outside White Cloud, Michigan, the Shack. Although we had some rainy weather, it didn't dampen our spirits as we focused on what we've done during the past year, and what we hope to accomplish in this coming year.

Our Bible teacher was Pastor Matthew Recker from New York City. He reminded us of the importance of being humble before the Lord, and his preaching was very encouraging. The music was a little taste of heaven. In a time in our culture when singing in four-part harmony is nearly becoming extinct in our churches, it was wonderful to hear hymns sung in four-part harmony. There were many special numbers, too, including vocal and instrumental pieces of music.

As of yesterday, our consultant seminar began--a time when as many consultants as possible come together to hone their skills and plan their consultant workshops for the coming year. We are working on close to 40 projects and have only seven full-time Scripture consultants, which keeps them very busy. It's always good to visit with consultants who would not otherwise be in the BI office were it not for this seminar.

This has been a record-setting year for Bibles International. For the first time ever in the history of BI, we published six New Testaments in seven months. That is truly a cause for rejoicing. But there are several dozen other Scriptures that will be ready for publication in the next few months or years, requiring hundreds of thousands of dollars in order to be able to do that. Pray with us that the Lord will provide the needed funds to print those Scriptures, as well as the necessary funds to cover the day to day operations. Our God is able to supply those needs, but He always uses people. If you would like to become involved in this ministry, please contact me or send an e-mail to: info@biblesint.org. You will receive information on upcoming projects or other opportunities.
