Bibles International's Volunteer Luncheon

Each year, Bibles International honors its volunteers with a luncheon, which is really a misnomer. It's always a delicious, catered meal, and is far from a luncheon.

Yesterday was the day to honor these volunteers. With volunteers, missionaries, and staff members, there were 51 of us. We were treated to a delicious meal of chicken breasts and/or ham, red potatoes, a stir-fried blend of vegetables including onions, zucchini, and yellow and green peppers, home-frozen corn, a green salad, and homemade yeast rolls. There were a variety of homemade pies for dessert. It was scrumptious!

All of the female guests got a lovely set of a pearl necklace, bracelet, and earrings from Asia. They were beautiful.

I think everyone went home satisfied. It was a wonderful opportunity to show our volunteers how much we appreciate their help.
